"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it." — Proverbs 22:6

Summer camp for intermediate and young teen boys, and now girls, begins at the end of the school year. The goal of this camp is to teach the sspecific camping skills such as: woodlore, camp craft, map and compass, hiking, work projects, gardening, cooking, boating, swimming, rifle range, archery, go-karts etc. The camping experience is an ideal setting to instruct the youth in valuable life skills.

Camp registration is kept purposely small in number but high in leadership ratio. Quality of relationship and close contact are a priority. The success of every camper in each activity is possible because personal instruction and close attention are given to each one.

The camper leaves for home with newly acquired skills they can use the rest of their life.

James Koliwaske, 2001 Camper, says —

Camp was a great experience! I had a great time. We went on hikes every day. We also got to swim and fish in the river. We took hatchet and snake catching classes. There was also a slip-and-slide course.

We had Bible studies every day. We all got to tell stories every night.

It was the best camp I have ever went to!

Wes Tappmeyer, Camp Leader, says—

Camp was a chance for me to work with a great group of young guys. We did everything together and worked as a team to learn valuable camping skills. We had fun doing everything from hiking and fishing to fire building and cooking our own meals. Not only did we have the time of our lives camping, but we learned to enjoy God's presence in His creation around us.
